On this tour, you will get to know Vienna's most historically significant sights. We will begin with a drive along the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings, such as the State Opera, the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History, the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament Building, the city hall, the university, the stock exchange and past numerous palaces and monuments to famous composers, poets and artists. We will then continue to travel along the Prater with its famous Ferris Wheel to the Hundertwasser house, to St. Charles's Church and the Viennese Music Association. One of Vienna’s landmarks can only be reached by foot due to its location – St. Stephen's Cathedral. After a brief tour of the outside, you will be taken back to your cruise ship.

The view when the small tourist train approaches the summit of the castle of Esztergom will surely amaze you. In front of you, the largest neoclassical basilica in Hungary - 118 metres long and 48 metres wide - awaits. Its huge green dome towers far over the city and simply takes your breath away. Before you reach the Basilica, you'll hear all about this impressive place and the city of Esztergom. The children's railway is a narrow-gauge railway operated by children. For example, the conductors are children who accompany you through the beautiful mountain landscape. After a short ride, you get off and start your hike to a lookout tower from where you have a fantastic panoramic view. After a picnic break, you walk on to the next station of the children's railway. Taking you directly to the most beautiful view, the Bratislava City Express will deliver you to the Bratislavský Hrad (Bratislava Castle). From the 85-metre-high plateau, you can see far over the Danube. The city owes its name to Duke Wratislaw, who built the complex in the middle of the 17th century. Maria Theresia decided to reconstruct the castle a century later as you'll see on your visit today. After the castle, you will explore the historical centre with its Renaissance houses and baroque palaces by foot.

The guide will pick you up in front of the ship and take you to the Segways. Once there, you will receive an approx. 15-minute introduction to all the information you need for the extravagant means of transport. Bratislava can be easily explored on the agile and flexible Segways. You will pass the UFO Restaurant and the new bridge, the Danube Bridge, and enter the Old Town. There you will discover the Trinity Church, the new National Theatre, St. Martin's Cathedral and much more. A pure thrill! You will become a rafting expert on the famous World Cup Course of ?unovo. After a short bus ride, you will reach the artificial water course. Here you will be instructed in detail and equipped with life jacket, helmet and paddle. Then we will board the rafting boats (maximum of five people, including guide) for an exhilarating wild water ride.

Dürnstein's main sight is the church with its blue and white baroque spire. Artful reliefs show the suffering of Christ and four obelisks with the images of the apostles’ tower into the sky. The Collegiate Church was built in the 15th century and was originally an Augustinian monastery, before it was rebuilt in baroque style. The fortress, which towers over the city, was built in the middle of the 12th century and became the prison of King Richard I (Richard the Lionheart) about fifty years later. The fortress was widely destroyed in the 17th century and today, only the fascinating and romantic ruins remain. You will then continue along the Danube to one of Europe’s most magnificent baroque buildings and the highlight of this excursion: the Benedictine Abbey Melk. Situated on a 60-metre-tall ridge, it offers a fantastic view over the Danube and the dreamlike landscape of the Wachau.
