With a bit of luck, you will see pelicans and cormorants on the boat trip. The delta is home to the largest pelican colony in Europe, among others. On board of the catamaran you can fortify yourself with lunch while heading back through the main channel towards Tulcea. The fauna of these waters is very rich in different fish, such as carp, tench, flatfish, red mullet and many more.
