Afterwards, the bus will take you to St Stephen's Basilica. With its 96-metre-high dome, it is the largest church in the city. And the organ! The 6,000 bells and whistles produce goosebump sounds. Numerous students enjoy their time in idyllic cafés in front of a historical scenery. You will pass Renaissance town houses and baroque palaces. Right next to those, you can also find modern statues throughout the old town.

After a short taxi ride into the city centre, your tour will begin and you'll take in sights such as the Hofburg Palace, the Town Hall, the elegant street, Herrengasse and Stephansplatz Square. The classic cars are modelled on originals from the 1920s.

On this tour, you will get to know Vienna's most historically significant sights. We will begin with a drive along the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings, such as the State Opera, the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History, the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament Building, the city hall, the university, the stock exchange and past numerous palaces and monuments to famous composers, poets and artists. We will then continue to travel along the Prater with its famous Ferris Wheel to the Hundertwasser house, to St. Charles's Church and the Viennese Music Association. One of Vienna's landmarks can only be reached by foot due to its location - St. Stephen's Cathedral. After a brief tour of the outside, you will be taken back to your cruise ship.

Linz has a long history. The capital of Upper Austria with its approx. 200,000 inhabitants is first mentioned in the second century as a Roman Lentia. The main square is surrounded by houses with baroque facades and beautiful Renaissance courtyards. Discover the town hall from the 15th century and the Feichtingerhaus from the 18th century. On your walk through Linz you will see the grand official Landhaus in Renaissance style as well as the Mozarthaus. The Old Cathedral, which was the Diocese of Linz' until 1909, was the work of the famous organist Anton Bruckner. To the west of Linz city centre are the Limoni tunnels. The beer and wine cellars, which had existed for a long time, were converted into kilometre-long air-raid shelters during the Second World War. In the beginning, the work was done by outside companies. In 1944 this changed and concentration camp prisoners were used for the construction, who housed in the tunnels.
