    SHIP'S MANIFEST
    If your customers have not already entered data online at www.arosa-cruises.com/manifest, we ask that you or your customers to do so before the start of their cruise.

    IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
    For European citizens the following applies: Identity Card or Passport. Please make sure to bring valid identification papers. We recommend that you also carry a photocopy of your identity papers in your luggage.

    Citizens of other countries should contact their relevant consulates about any visas or other entry documents that may be required.

    PARKING RESERVATION
    The reservation of a parking lot is required prior to travel. You will receive further information and the parking reservation card with your  travel documents.

    A-ROSA LUGGAGE TAGS
    Please complete the A-ROSA luggage tags and attach them to your luggage.

    CASH
    The on-board currency is Euro. During the trip, use your cabin card as your own credit card. At the end of the journey you can pay your final account in cash, with EC card (except Douro) or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. The booking of shore excursions will be billed to your cabin account.

    The travel date may be changed once free of charge in the Premium all inclusive rate up to 30 days before departure.

    •      For each additional change € 25 per person will be charged.
    •      For changes of bookings from A-ROSA Premium all inclusive to A-ROSA Basic, the charge is € 150 per person.
    •      € 200 per person will be charged if the change of the booking is made within the Basic rate.

    For changes to flight-inclusive bookings the above charges will be increased by € 80 per person.
    Any desired changes to the bookings, which are requested later than 30 days before departure, can be made only after you have withdrawn from the travel contract and have made a new booking. The resulting fees can be found under the heading Cancellation.

    After conclusion of the contract and issue of the risk coverage certificate, a part payment amounting to 25% of the travel price shall be due for payment. If travel insurance was taken out, this amount must be fully paid.

    The final payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Please note that you will not receive a separate request for payment for this final payment.

    The on-board currency is the euro. During the cruise, you will be given your own on-board credit card to use, which also serves as your key card for your cabin. At the end of the cruise, you can choose to pay your final account either in cash (Euro) or with the following credit cards: American Express, Mastercard or Visa. For technical reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to pay by Maestro/EC card, debit card or travelers‘ cheques.

    English excursions can be pre-booked online without obligation. A binding confirmation, booking and payment for excursions is made on board. For cruises of 7 nights or more, one excursion is included free of charge for our guests, but to take part in the free excursion it must still be reserved online in advance. We arrange the excursions, but they are implemented by the local agencies, which are the excursion organisers, and thus also your contractual partners. Please note that some excursions are subject to a minimum number of participants and some excursions have a limited number of participants.

    If you arrive by car, you can book through A-ROSA a valet parking. In your travel documents you will find the reservation card. If you do not want to use this organized valet parking, you would have to find a parking spot near the harbor independently for the time of your trip.

    In the case of partial cancellation of a free traveling child up to 15 years of age from a double cabin accompanied by at least one supervising full payer, the A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH charges a handling fee of € 200.00.

For example, you can give a voucher (worth at least € 50) for the next A-ROSA cruise, a voucher for a terranova bike package or for excursions on board.     For the substitution of a passenger an additional fee of € 50 per person will be charged for the cruise only. Costs arising from the substitution of any additional services that may have been booked (flights etc.) will be charged in full to the person making the booking.

    A-ROSA offers the following discounts:

    The Super Early Bird or Early Bird Discounts are only valid for Premium all inclusive full-paying passengers for selected dates.

    *Children up to 15 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one supervising adult in the same cabin. For cruises on the Douro and with the A-ROSA SENA, children's discounts vary between 0 - 25%. Only valid with our "Premium all inclusive" rate for the cruise itself (extras like excursions, SPA treatments, etc. excluded). Limited availabilities on all cruises.

    “Mini Groups” (min. 6 adults with one booking number) can receive a discount of 4% discount. We offer a 10% discount on the passage portion only for combination bookings (at least 2 consecutive cruises).

    The A-ROSA ships do not have wheelchair-accessible cabins and there are no passenger lifts on board except on A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA SENA, A-ROSA ALEA & A-ROSA CLEA. A-ROSA ALVA, ALEA and CLEA have a lift between deck 1 and deck 3 and A-ROSA SENA between deck 1 and 4. The sun deck, however, can only be reached by stairs, which can result in restrictions.

    On our ships A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA FLORA and A-ROSA BRAVA as well as on A-ROSA SILVA and A-ROSA VIVA there are 2 connecting cabins on each deck, which are very suitable for families with children. The A-ROSA SENA has 3 connecting cabins on each deck.

    Mobility aids can only be carried on board after prior notification and confirmation by the A-ROSA Service Centre. Please send details of the size and weight of the wheelchair in advance to service@a-rosa.com. Wheelchairs cannot be hired on board. Please note that there are no lifts on A-ROSA ships (except on A-ROSA ALVA & A-ROSA SENA).

    The travel documents consist of your cruise vouchers, tickets for arrival / departure, an excursion brochure and various information about your cruise. These travel documents and all tickets will be sent to you after the receipt of the full payment, but no earlier than three weeks before your departure.

    Weapons, explosives, fireworks, acids, dangerous chemicals and flammable substances of any kind, as well as irons, candles and heating devices (e.g. hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, etc.) are not permitted on board. It is also forbidden to bring on board drugs and medical equipment that does not meet the technical requirements. In the event of non-compliance, passengers may be denied boarding without compensation.

    Special vaccinations are not required. Children should have the age appropriate vaccinations according to immunisation schedule. Tetanus / Polio / Diphtheria: If the vaccination is older than 10 years, a booster injection is recommended. This also applies to hepatitis A vaccination. Please also think of an effective protection for the prevention and treatment of insect bites (especially in the Danube Delta) and a sunscreen with a high SPF.

    Since June 26, 2012 child entries in the passport of the parents are invalid and children are no longer entitled to cross the border to other countries. All children (from birth on) need their own travel document. Even when traveling in Schengen countries, you should carry a travel document for each child with you. In general, there is no passport control during border crossings. However, in justified cases, identity documents may be requested. We encourage you to apply for a travel document for your children at your local passport office.

    The transport of medical oxygen cylinders must not exceed a total volume of 60 litres and is only permitted after prior notification. Please send us the technical data sheet for the equipment or oxygen cylinders in advance to service@a-rosa.com. Important: Please wait for our confirmation as to whether the equipment can be transported. It is not possible to hire oxygen equipment on board. Medical equipment that does not comply with the technical requirements and applicable safety regulations of the vessel may not be carried on board.

    If you have booked the Premium all inclusive rate, you will find your cabin number already on your booking confirmation and later on your travel documents. If you have booked the Basic rate, you will receive your cabin number during check-in on board.

    Please attach the A-ROSA luggage tag to your suitcase before your departure. In addition, we recommend that you never leave your luggage unattended.

    You are welcome to bring your own bedding. Please contact the A-ROSA Service Center prior to the departure if you wish to do so in order to inform the ship’s management. On most ships, there is also hypoallergenic bedding available, if this is required, please also contact the A-ROSA Service Center by e-mail: service@a-rosa.com

    On arrival it is generally not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages on board. If you buy any alcoholic beverages on land during the trip, a maximum of 1 liter per person over 18 years of age may be brought on board.

    A-ROSA gift vouchers are a popular and fantastic gift idea. Gift vouchers can be used to pay for the next cruise onboard A-ROSA. As well,  a cabin greeting, e.g. a bottle of wine, a fruit basket or an onboard credit for a wellness treatment or excursions can be ordered. You can find the order form in our Extranet here.

    On the sun deck you will find deck chairs and a sun canopy. In the interest of all passengers, please do not reserve deck chairs. Woolen blankets for cooler weather on deck can be found in your cabin.

    Our "Premium All-inclusive" guests will find bathrobes in their cabin upon arrival. "Basic" guests may receive bathrobes upon request from your cabin stewardess or at the reception.

    We do not currently offer specific golf cruises. However, guests have the option to book green fees and taxi transfers through the reception on board. Unfortunately, we do not have prices available as these are paid by the guest on site.

    The ships of the A-ROSA fleet are equipped with a modern GSM telephone system which enables you to make phone calls worldwide via direct dialling. If you would like to make a long-distance call, please proceed as follows: dial the country code, then the local code, then the phone number. Between dialling and the first ring, there is a charge-free pause of up to 30 seconds’ duration, after which call charging starts automatically, even if the call is not answered. You can find information on the valid fees at the reception or in the on-board ABC in your cabin. GSM telephone: The respective call number of your ship is stated on your key card.

    On the A-ROSA ships A-ROSA AQUA, BRAVA and VIVA, the indoor and outdoor bar is located on deck 3, as well as the café & lounge bar. The A-ROSA ships A- ROSA BELLA, DONNA, MIA and RIVA have a café-bar and a loungebar on deck 3. The A-ROSA ALVA has its lounge bar on deck 3. The A-ROSA ships A-ROSA FLORA, LUNA, SILVA and STELLA have a lounge bar on deck 2. The outside bar is located on the sundeck. The current opening times can be found in the daily programme in your cabin.

    A small library with international books is located near the reception. A selection of board games is held at the reception desk or in the Day Lounge.

    Family cruises with Kids Club and childcare take place on key holiday dates as well as during Christmas and New Year's Eve cruises. On A-ROSA SENA, the dedicated Kids Club room is also available outside of the family cruises and childcare is provided year-round.

    Just like the entire ship, your cabin also has air conditioning. The cabin temperature can be individually adjusted. When you open the balcony door, the air circulation unit is automatically switched off.

    Only the suites of the A-ROSA SILVA, FLORA and SENA have a minibar.

    Laundry bags and order slips for our laundry service are located in the wardrobe. Payment is made via your on-board account.

    For protection against insects, an insect screen in the form of a roller blind/sliding element is usually attached to the outside of the balcony door. When operating the roller blind, please ensure you exert equal force distribution in order to prevent it from getting stuck. It can be locked at the bottom.

    The cabins on the A-ROSA ships, except the suites of the A-ROSA SILVA, FLORA and SENA, do not have a minibar. For storing refrigerated medication, please contact the reception. The employees will store the medicines properly. The reception is open 24/7, so your clients have access to their medicines at any time.

    On board the A-ROSA ships, you have the option to connect to the Internet using our Wi-Fi. For more information on availability, conditions of use and the incurred costs, please ask at the reception. Premium All-inclusive guests may use the Internet free-of-charge in accordance with the conditions of use.

    Yes, the water on board is of drinking quality.

    Public and automated announcements can be heard on deck and in the cabins and primarily inform guests of outings on land and important programme points. Announcements are in English and German. No announcements will be made in the cabin before 8:00 or after 22:00, except in the event of an emergency. Announcements concerning the landscape passing by are made via App.

    The windows and balcony doors of the suites and the cabins with Juliette balconies can be opened, all other cabins do not feature a window which can be opend.     Incoming calls will be put through to your cabin by Reception. The normal roaming charges for outgoing or incoming calls from your cabin will be automatically charged to your on-board account.

    On board and during the shore excursions, you can wear what you like. The dress code is comfortable and casual. Please remember to bring warmer clothes for the evenings out on deck. For the shore excursions, we recommend you bring sturdy shoes. In the restaurants, swimwear or shorts are not appropriate for dinner.

    Guests are mostly from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Israel and the United States. The on-board language on the A-ROSA ships are German and English.

    On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA VIVA and A-ROSA BRAVA there is a heated whirlpool in the spa area on Deck 3. On all other A-ROSA ships you will find a heated swimming pool on the sun deck. On A-ROSA SENA there is both a whirlpool in the SPA-ROSA and a swimming pool with its own kids’ pool on the sun deck. Bath towels are provided in your cabin.

    In the EU, you can leave the ship as soon as we dock. In non-EU countries, you can only leave the ship after permission is granted by the local authorities. In your own interest, we request that you are back on board no later than 30 minutes before we cast off. The docking times may change at short notice. Please pay attention to announcements and information in the daily programme. Please always pick up your shore pass at the reception before leaving the ship and return it to the reception once you are back on board. We can only then ensure that all guests are back on board.

    Full Board Plus includes an embarkation snack, an extensive breakfast, lunch buffet and dinner buffet and a tea and coffee hour. Many cruises also include seasonal extras such as sandwiches or midnight snacks.

    Flight to Lyon:

    If the flight arrival or departure is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the airport to the ship and/or back is not included. The airport transfer cannot be booked in advance as an individual service by individual guests. The rebooking of an A-ROSA airport transfer is possible on the spot on board and only in individual cases, depending on the availability of transfer places and against payment (A-ROSA airport transfer from € 27 p. p. /per route). Alternatively, we recommend an individual taxi transfer in Lyon. On the day of arrival, sufficient taxis are available at the airport. Taxis can be pre-ordered at the reception on board for individual transfers from the ship to the airport on the day of departure.

    Lyon Railway:

    The train station transfer cannot be booked in advance as an individual service by individual guests. Guests arriving and departing individually (not with the A-ROSA TGV-Arrangement) by train to Lyon, we recommend an individual taxi transfer from the train station to the ship or back. Depending on the volume of traffic, the journey takes 5 to 20 minutes each way. Taxis can be pre-ordered at the reception on board for individual transfers from the ship to the station on the day of departure. Alternatively, depending on the availability of transfer places and payment (A-ROSA train station transfer from € 22 p. P. /per route), it is also possible to rebook an A-ROSA train station transfer on board in individual cases.

    The transfer service will only be available on the day of arrival and departure.

    On the day of embarkation, the transfer takes place from 14.30 h to 15.30 h. Coaches are available at Cologne Central Station to take you to the ship. Please note that there may be waiting times. If you have any questions, your A-ROSA ship will be happy to answer your questions on the day of embarkation. On the day of disembarkation, the transfer to Cologne Central Station will take place at 8.15 h. You will receive further information on the transfer from the ship to the train station directly on board. The meeting point is on the forecourt of Cologne Central Station (exit Breslauer Platz) in front of the pharmacy ‘Am Hauptbahnhof’. Our staff will be waiting for you on the forecourt and show you the way to your transfer bus. After you have handed in your luggage, you will find it in your cabin after embarkation.

    If you have booked the Premium all inclusive rate, the transfer is offered free of charge for you. If you have booked the Basic rate, you can book the transfer for 10€ per person per trip (subject to availability).

    Lyon Train Station:

    On the day of arrival, TGV guests will be transferred from the station to the ship at 20.00 h. The transfer starts as soon as all guests arrive in a certain time window.     Lyon Airport:

    Paris Airport:

    On the day of embarkation, group transfers are organized at two fixed times:

    13:00 o'clock / 15:00 o'clock / optional additional transfer for later arrivals

    On the day of disembarkation, the transfers will take place at 06:00 o'clock or 09:00 o'clock to the airport. You will receive further information on the transfer from the ship to the airport directly on board.

    The transfer will only be available on the day of arrival and departure. On the day of embarkation the transfer is attuned for the train ICE 91 (arrival approx. 14:30 hrs) and departs at 15:00 hrs.     The transfer from the ship to the train station is organised by the crew directly on board. You will receive detailed information on the transfer times on the day before your departure. As a general rule, organised transfers usually take place between 08:00 h and 09:00 h at the latest. We suggest to book a train from 09:30 h.

    Hotel:

    The hotel facilities vary. Some offer three-bed rooms or family rooms with a connecting door, but in some cases it is only possible to add an extra bed/folding bed. Prices and availability on request.

    Train:

    Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge within Germany, children aged 6 to 14 years of age travel in Germany and Austria free of charge only if accompanied by their parents/grandparents (with family child RIT ticket). Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge on international transport to France (Lyon, Paris) without entitlement to their own seat, children from 6 to 14 years of age accompanied by their parents/grandparents pay half price (with entitlement to a seat). If a child up to the age of 5 requires their own seat, they must be booked at half the price of the adults, just like children aged 6 – 14 years.

    Flight:

    Babies ("infant" 0-1 years old) and children ("child" usually 2-11 years old) pay a reduced fare for many airlines, but never travel free of charge. Discounts vary between airlines and must therefore be requested from A-ROSA.

    Transfer:

The buses used by the transfer agency do not provide child seats/baby carriers, as different seats are required depending on the size.

    A-ROSA can apply for free assistance/accompanying service at the airports for disabled or elderly people who feel insecure at the airport or on connecting flights. Should this occur in connection with the transport of a walker or wheelchair by the guest, it is absolutely necessary to register the device with the airline before departure. For this purpose, A-ROSA requires information on weight and dimensions (length x width x height).

    Furthermore, we would ask you to inform us about the extent of the obstruction/insecurity: can stairs be managed independently or is help needed here? Can the route between the airport building and the transfer bus be managed independently or is help needed here as well?

    In the event of a change or cancellation of train tickets, please return the unused original ticket before departure. If you book your train journey/travel departure at the catalogue price, the rail fare can only be reimbursed in accordance with the A-ROSA travel conditions if you present your unused original ticket before the start of the journey.     Flights with Lufthansa and Eurowings usually depart and land from Terminal 2. The transfer staff awaits you in the arrivals area, behind the baggage hall, and accompanies you to the transfer car (smaller cars can drive up to the airport entrance, larger buses are available at the bus station behind the airport train station).

    You will be met at the station Paris Gare de l' Est (TGV, ICE) or Paris Gare du Nord (Thalys) by a transfer employee or your driver on arrival of your train. The rendezvous point is at the head of the track. Please pay attention to the appropriate signs. As soon as all transfer guests have arrived, the group will go to the transfer vehicle together; depending on the number of guests booked, this can be a bus, a minibus or a car. There may be short waiting times at the station.

    In TGV trains, it is mandatory for you to provide your luggage with your name and address with the appropriate tags, please take this into account.

    The meeting point at the Cologne central station is located in front of the central station next to the pharmacy Am Hauptbahnhof. You need to take the exit Breslauer Platz.     The parking garage is located just off the highway A57, exit Bickendorf Richtung Bilderstöckchen. You can park your car between 13.00 h and 14.30 h on the day of embarkation. The transfer vom the parking garage to the ship will take place at 14.45 h. 

    You will be transferred from the garage to the ship by the company Globus Park Service in time for embarkation. (You will receive the exact transfer time on-site.) In case of delay or emergencies you may contact the Globus Parkservice Team on the day of arrival at the following telephone number: +49 221-280 64 942. 

    On the day of disembarkation, you will be brought back to your vehicle by a shuttle bus. The transfer to the parking garage is at 9.00 h. You will receive further details on this shuttle bus directly on board.

    During your cruise you have the possibility to park your car (max. length 5.10 m; max. height 1.90 m.) in Lyon in a parking garage. You will receive a parking reservation card with your travel documents, please fill it in and send it at least four days prior departure to the mentioned fax number. We kindly ask you to proceed to the ship pier (address: Quai Claude Bernard, F -69007 Lyon) and unload your luggage there. Embarkation starts at 02.00 pm. The local authorities do not allow vehicles directly in frontof the ship.

    Please stop above the pier and unload your luggage.  Afterwards you may drive to the car park and park your car on parking decks 6 or 7. Then we kindly ask you to walk back to the ship, which will take approximately 6 to 8 minutes. On the morning of disembarkation a staff member of our agency will drive you to the car park, where you will receive your car back. Afterwards you can drive back to the pier to pick up your luggage and your passengers.

    The local authorities do not allow vehicles directly in front of the ship. Replace German sentence with: Since January 2017, all vehicles entering the low emission zone in Lyon need an environmental sticker, the "Crit'Air" vignette.
