Our bus will pass the beautiful Cathedral of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal). It is one of the highlights of Brabantine Gothic and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, you will take a stroll through the historic centre with the Grote Markt and the lavishly decorated Renaissance town hall. A small tour then takes you through Antwerp's diamond district.

Belgium is known for its delicious chocolate. This chocolate museum will take you through the whole process of chocolate making, from the cocoa bean to the finished product. You’ll also learn how filled chocolates are made – and you’ll have the opportunity to try some for yourself along the way. There are lots of exciting things for our younger guests to see and do here as well, and you’ll discover some fascinating facts in each of the 14 rooms.

The picturesque old town of Ghent with its beautiful buildings such as the St. Bavo Cathedral or the 100m high bell tower Belfry offer an unforgettable cityscape. Discover the port and university city of Ghent as a couple and let yourself be driven from A to B in your private car.

As a university and port city, Ghent has a lot to offer. Let us drive you comfortably to the picturesque old town and pass the Belfort and St. Bavo's Cathedral. Your excursion takes you through a beguinage, along the canals through the old town to the market square with its pretty gabled houses and to the 12th century Basilica of the Holy Blood. Near Lelystad lies the recreational lake 't Bovenwater, which covers approximately 125 hectares and is ideal for water sports. Every year, the recreational lake attracts many sailing enthusiasts who let the wind glide them over the water. At the Paradiso surf school, both experienced windsurfers and beginners can practice and learn this popular water sport. Let your surf instructor show you tips and tricks and enjoy the wind and the feeling of floating over the water.

Join us on a fishing experience to the largest fishing park in the Netherlands. On the outskirts of Lelystad, in the middle of nature, lies the Toms Creek fishing park, a true paradise for anglers, but also for beginner fishermen! Let us show you different fishing techniques or learn basic tricks to hook a trout. Various fishing lakes await you where you can cast your rod. From carp, catfish or trout, you can fish for a variety of fish here.

Zaanse Schans is a listed open-air museum where you can stroll through Dutch life in the 17th and 18th centuries. Whether guided or on your own, you will walk past authentic houses, a historic shipyard, a tin factory, a cheese and dairy farm, an ancient grocery shop and, above all, windmills. Afterwards, the tour continues across the polder landscape to a cheese dairy and to Edam. In the cheese dairy you will be told everything about the production of cheese and of course you will be allowed to taste a piece. In Edam, the cheese is world-famous, but the little village also has a lot to offer. During a short walk you can explore the village, which is also criss-crossed by small canals, and see the cheese market, among other things. However, hardly any cheese is sold here today. Nevertheless, the tradition is regularly revived and the cheese is carried by cheese carriers to the various traders as in the old days.

From Lelystad you'll take the coach to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a historic and diverse city with much to discover by water and land. Once you've arrived at Amsterdam's longest canal, the Prinsengracht, your relaxed canal tour can start. As the boat glides calmly through the water, the picturesque house façades, narrow alleys and magnificent monuments pass by you. From the boat you will experience the old city centre with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the canal ring area. Afterwards, you will discover the Jewish quarter, the Rijksmuseum and much more on a city tour by bus.

Take a deep breath! In Frisian Harlingen the sea air is omnipresent. The harbour stretches all the way into the downtown area, where you can be witness to architecture from different epochs. Follow our guide through the beautiful old houses with stepped gables, along the canals and the elegant brick town hall and walk to the outstanding Reformed Church from the 18th century, located high above the harbour.

Although we sail through the Wadden Sea, we follow the fairway to Harlingen. So, if you really want to discover the Wadden Sea and its inhabitants, then come along on a tour with the MS Regina Andrea. Here we sail the Wadden Sea towards various sandbanks where, with luck, we may spot some seals and harbour seals. On board you will experience the Wadden Sea and learn a lot about this nature reserve and its inhabitants. Here the whole family can look forward to an impressive trip through the Wadden Sea.

Explore the harbour town of Hoorn with a private English-speaking guide. Experience history in the footsteps of Willem Schouten, who sailed around the southern tip of America in 1616 and gave it the name of his hometown. Or walk along the Grote Kerk to the Grote Mark and the city's town hall. Stroll along the dyke past various small shops. Design this excursion according to your own wishes and ideas.

A board and a paddle is all you need: stand-up paddleboarding is the latest trend in water sports. You can do it on almost any body of water, but Hoorn is a particularly good place as it’s a real Mecca for water sports fans. So, why not try SUP for yourself on the IJsselmeer. Your instructor will show you what to do, then you can give it a go!

The IJsselmeer is one of the most popular places in the Netherlands for sailing. Since the water is just five metres deep here, people sail in typical flat-bottomed boats. On board the Mother Goose you’ll be able to take control of the ropes and the helm yourself. Your skipper and another sailor will show you the correct hand movements to use, and over the course of the excursion you’ll become increasingly adept at making the boat glide over the water. After around four hours the Mother Goose will moor close to your A-ROSA ship.

During a walk through Hoorn you will feel travel back in time. You will learn about Willem Schouten, who sailed around the southern tip of America in 1616, and named it after his home town. Another famous man from Hoorn was Abel Janszoon Tasman, who was the first European to visit both New Zealand and Tasmania. Many buildings bear witness to how Hoorn flourished in the 16th century to become one of the most important port cities of Zuidersee. During the tour, you will be able to see the Grote Kerk, the old town hall or the Waage from 1609.

"Take off your shoes and get into the fun" is the motto at the Barefoot Trail Elten, near Emmerich. An exclusive experience for young and old awaits you. Feel twelve different surfaces, from forest floor, clay and stones to gravel, sand and wood, and walk through the Hochelten forest.
