Simply beautiful. Oberwesel is nicknamed the ‘Town of Towers and Wine’ – a very fitting description. As you travel along the Rhine, you can already make out the silhouettes of Schönburg Castle, the red Church of Our Lady (Liebfrauenkirche) and the hefty city fortifications, with their many towers, from afar.
