A-ROSA FAQ

The travel date may be changed once free of charge in the Premium all inclusive fare up to 30 days before departure.

For each additional change € 25 per person will be charged.

For changes to flight-inclusive bookings the above charges will be increased by € 80 per person.

Any desired changes to the bookings, which are requested later than 30 days before departure, can be made only after you have withdrawn from the travel contract and have made a new booking. The resulting fees can be found under the heading Cancellation.

After conclusion of the contract and issue of the risk coverage certificate, a part payment amounting to 25% of the travel price shall be due for payment. If travel insurance was taken out, this amount must be fully paid.

There is no transaction fee for payment by credit card.

This is possible. Within the A-ROSA Premium all inclusive fare we can add you to a waiting list. Please send your request via email to service@a-rosa.com. If we can offer you the preferred cabin category, A-ROSA will contact you immediately if a suitable cabin becomes available.

A-ROSA gift vouchers are a great gift idea. For example, you can gift a voucher (worth at least € 50) for the next A-ROSA cruise, for a terranova bike package or for excursions on board. You can also make the day of your loved ones on board by ordering a cabin greeting or an onboard credit. You can find more information on the Cabin Greetings here.

Please note the resulting cancellation fees according to the current Terms and Conditions.

The final payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Please note that you will not receive a separate request for payment for this final payment.

Providing the required information is essential for a smooth process with customs, port and border authorities! Foreign nationals should check with their local consulate for passport and visa requirements. You can enter your travel details online at www.arosa-cruises.com/manifest up to 4 weeks before departure. This information will be forwarded to the ship and the authorities at the ports of call.

For the substitution of a passenger an additional fee of € 50 per person will be charged for the cruise only. Costs arising from the substitution of any additional services that may have been booked (flights etc.) will be charged in full to the person making the booking.

The Early Booking Discounts are only valid for Premium all inclusive full-paying passengers for selected dates.

*Children up to 15 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one supervising adult in the same cabin. For cruises on the Douro and with the A-ROSA SENA, children's discounts vary between 0 - 25%. Only valid with our Premium all inclusive fare for the cruise itself (extras like excursions, SPA treatments, etc. excluded). Limited availabilities on all cruises.

“Mini Groups” (min. 6 adults with one booking number) can receive a discount of 4% discount. We offer a 10% discount on the passage portion only for combination bookings (at least 2 consecutive cruises).

You can pay your invoice easily via bank transfer or credit card. All major credit cards are accepted.

8.2. If the customer cancels before the start of the trip or does not begin the trip, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH loses its claim to the travel price. A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH may instead demand suitable compensation for the travel arrangements made prior to the cancellation and its expenses in accordance with the actual travel price, unless it is responsible for the cancellation or extraordinary circumstances arise at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination that have a significantly adverse effect on the execution of the trip or the transport of persons to the destination. In the event of cancellation by the customer, a percentage rate of compensation for travel arrangements made and expenses incurred shall become payable, the amount of which depends on the date when the cancellation declaration is received and the expected amount of saved expenses. We therefore recommend that any cancellation declaration be made in writing. The percentage rate of compensation is calculated as follows:

a) Standard rate: A-ROSA Premium all inclusive rates

• up to 31 days before departure 40 %
• 30 days or less before departure 60 %
• 24 days or less before departure 70 %
• 17 days or less before departure 80 %
• 10 days or less before departure 85 %
• 3 days before departure until the day of departure or cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show 90 %

If a partial cancellation is made by a passenger who has booked a double cabin for the full price, with the result that the remaining passenger will have single occupancy of the double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to charge cancellation costs as set out in the table. The compensation payable shall amount to no less than 60% of the proportionate travel price. The same shall apply if a passenger paying the full price cancels their berth in a cabin with multiple berths. In this situation, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to rebook the cabin. If a partial cancellation is made for a child up to 15 years of age who is travelling free of charge in the company of at least one responsible adult and is accommodated in a double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH will charge a processing fee of €200.

b) Special rate: A-ROSA Basic rates

• up to 31 days before departure 50 %
• 30 days or less before departure 70 %
• 24 days or less before departure 80 %
• 17 days or less before departure 85 %
• 3 days before departure until the day of departure or noshow 90 %

c) For additional themed packages with a separate booking code, such as wellness packages, and also for arrival and departure arrangements and extended stays in hotels, the standard rate shall apply (8.2.a.).

You will receive your booking confirmation immediately after making your reservation or after the expiration of the option period by e-mail or post.

If you have not already entered data online at www.arosa-cruises.com/manifest, we ask that you to do so before the start of their cruise.

IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
As European citizens, please bring your Identity Card or Passport. Please make sure to bring valid identification papers. We recommend that you also carry a photocopy of your identity papers in your luggage.

Citizens of other countries should contact their responsible consulates about any visas or other entry documents that may be required.

PARKING RESERVATION
The reservation of a parking space is required prior to travel. You will receive further information and the parking reservation card with your travel documents.

A-ROSA LUGGAGE TAGS
Please fill out the A-ROSA luggage tags and attach them to your luggage.

CASH
The on-board currency is Euro. During the trip, use your cabin card as your personal credit card. At the end of the journey you can pay your final account in cash, with EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. The booking of shore excursions will be billed to your cabin account.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Please remember - if needed - to bring a sufficient supply of medicine and possibly a second pair of glasses, insect repellent and sunscreen.

The A-ROSA ships do not have wheelchair-accessible cabins and there are no passenger lifts on board except on A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA SENA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA. Only A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA have a lift between deck 1 and deck 3 and A-ROSA SENA between deck 1 and 4. The sun deck, however, can only be reached by stairs, which can result in restrictions. On our Rhine ships A-ROSA AQUA and A-ROSA BRAVA, as well as on the Seine ship A-ROSA VIVA, there is cabin no. 224, which is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. The A-ROSA SENA also has cabins that are suitable for persons with restricted mobility. However, we cannot guarantee the assignment of this cabin when booking the Basic fare.

For your cruise on an A-ROSA ship, we are offering the TEFRA Travel Logistics luggage service up to 4 business days before departure to the ports of Cologne and Passau and up to 7 business days before departure to the ports of Paris and Lyon.

On our ships A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA FLORA and A-ROSA BRAVA as well as on A-ROSA SILVA and A-ROSA VIVA there are 2 connecting cabins on each deck, which are very suitable for families with children. The A-ROSA SENA has cabins with connecting doors on deck 3.

Mobility aids can only be carried on board after prior notification and confirmation by the A-ROSA Service Centre. Please send details of the size and weight of the wheelchair in advance to service@a-rosa.com. Wheelchairs cannot be hired on board. Please note that there are no lifts on A-ROSA ships (except on A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA, A-ROSA CLEA and A-ROSA SENA).

The travel information consist of various informations about your cruise, tickets for arrival / departure and an excursion brochure. The travel information and all tickets will be sent to you after the receipt of the full payment, but no earlier than three weeks before your departure.

Weapons, explosives, fireworks, acids, dangerous chemicals and flammable substances of any kind, as well as irons, candles and heating devices (e.g. hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, etc.) are not permitted on board. It is also forbidden to bring on board drugs and medical equipment that does not meet the technical requirements. In the event of non-compliance, passengers may be denied boarding without compensation.

It is not possible to take bicycles, children's bicycles and e-scooters on board.

Special vaccinations are not required. Children should have the age appropriate vaccinations according to immunisation schedule. Tetanus / Polio / Diphtheria: If the vaccination is older than 10 years, a booster injection is recommended. This also applies to hepatitis A vaccination. Please also think of an effective protection for the prevention and treatment of insect bites (especially in the Danube Delta) and a sunscreen with a high SPF.

All children (from birth on) need their own travel document. Even when traveling in Schengen countries, you should carry a travel document for each child with you. In general, there is no passport control during border crossings. However, in justified cases, identity documents may be requested. We encourage you to apply for a travel document for your children at your local passport office.

The transport of medical oxygen cylinders must not exceed a total volume of 60 litres and is only permitted after prior notification. Please send us the technical data sheet for the equipment or oxygen cylinders in advance to service@a-rosa.com. Important: Please wait for our confirmation whether the equipment can be transported. It is not possible to hire oxygen equipment on board. Medical equipment that does not comply with the technical requirements and applicable safety regulations of the vessel may not be carried on board.

Please make sure to bring an identity document (identity card or passport), which is valid in the period during the trip. We recommend that you also carry a photocopy of your identity papers in your luggage.

Citizens of other countries should contact their relevant consulates about any visas or other entry documents that may be required.

For European citizens: identity card or passport. Please ensure that you have a valid form of identification (identity card or passport) for the duration of your trip. We also recommend that you carry a photocopy of your identity document with you. For citizens of other countries, please contact the relevant consulate. Children travelling with you must have their own identity document.

You can book the TEFRA luggage service via the German toll-free phone number 0800 5002352. The price for the luggage service varies depending on the arrival and departure arrangements. Details can be found on the luggage service flyer in your travel information.

You can conveniently pay for the service on board your ship via your personal on-board account. For the return journey, simply book the luggage service directly on board the ship.

English excursions can be pre-booked online without obligation. A binding confirmation, booking and payment for excursions is made on board. A-ROSA arranges the excursions, but they are implemented by the local agencies, which are the excursion organisers, and thus also your contractual partners. Please note that excursions are subject to a minimum number of participants, and some excursions also have a limited number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, the shore excursion will not take place and you will not be charged. Exclusive Tours can't be reserved free of charge. They are confirmed immediately upon reservation and non-refundable.

If you have booked the Premium all inclusive fare, you will find your cabin number in your booking confirmation and later in your travel information. If you have booked the Basic fare, you will receive your cabin number during check-in on board.

Please attach the A-ROSA luggage tag to your suitcase before departure. In addition, we recommend that you never leave your luggage unattended.

Please note that admission to the ship and luggage service as well as check-in and occupation of the cabin is possible from 15:00 at the earliest. However, you should be on board at least one hour before departure. Please have your valid identification documents ready when you check in. In your cabin you will find your personal cabin key card, which is your means of payment, cabin key and access pass to the ship.

The official end of the cruise and your check-out on the day of departure is no later than 9:00 in the morning. Please bear this in mind when planning your arrival and departure.

Of course, you can program wake-up calls into your cabin telephone. You can place orders for wake-up calls at the reception.

You are welcome to bring your own bedding. Please contact the A-ROSA Service Center prior to the departure if you wish to do so in order to inform the ship’s management. On most ships, there is also hypoallergenic bedding available. If this is required, please also contact the A-ROSA Service Center by e-mail: service@a-rosa.com

At departure, it is generally not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages on board. If you buy any alcoholic beverages on land during the cruise, a maximum of 1 litre per person over 18 years of age may be brought on board.

Yes, there are baby beds available on board the A-ROSA cruise ships. On board the A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA, the addition of a baby cot is only possible in the suites. A-ROSA gift vouchers are a popular and fantastic gift idea. Gift vouchers can be used to pay for the next cruise onboard A-ROSA. A cabin greeting, e.g. a bottle of wine, a fruit basket or an onboard credit for a wellness treatment or excursions can be ordered as well. You can find the order form in our Extranet.

On the sun deck you will find deck chairs and a sun canopy. In the interest of all passengers, please do not reserve deck chairs. Woolen blankets for cooler weather on deck can be found in your cabin.

Guests may receive bathrobes upon request from cabin stewardess or at the reception.

We do not currently offer specific golf cruises. However, guests have the option to book green fees and taxi transfers through the reception on board. Unfortunately, we do not have prices available as these are paid by the guest on site.

The ships of the A-ROSA fleet are equipped with a modern GSM telephone system which enables you to make phone calls worldwide via direct dialling. If you would like to make a long-distance call, please proceed as follows: dial the country code, then the local code, then the phone number. Between dialling and the first ring, there is a charge-free pause of up to 30 seconds’ duration, after which call charging starts automatically, even if the call is not answered. You can find information on the valid fees at the reception. GSM telephone: The respective call number of your ship is stated on your key card.

On the A-ROSA ships A-ROSA AQUA, BRAVA and VIVA, the indoor and outdoor bar is located on deck 3, as well as the café & lounge bar. The A-ROSA ships A-ROSA BELLA, DONNA, MIA and RIVA have a café-bar and a loungebar on deck 3. The A-ROSA ALVA has its lounge bar on deck 3. The A-ROSA ships A-ROSA FLORA, LUNA, SILVA and STELLA have a lounge bar on deck 2. The outside bar is located on the sundeck. The current opening times can be found in the daily programme in your cabin.

A small library with international books is located near the reception. A selection of board games is held at the reception desk or in the Day Lounge.

Family cruises with a dedicated Kids Club and a full children’s programme take place during the Easter, summer and autumn holidays, as well as over Christmas and New Year. During these cruises, children can enjoy a wide range of special activities: from arts and crafts to treasure hunts and fun group games.

The Kids Club on board A-ROSA SENA is also available as a play space outside of the official family cruises, and childcare is provided on every cruise with this ship.

The children’s swimming school is offered exclusively on selected summer cruises aboard A-ROSA SENA. Here, children aged 4.5 and up can learn to swim under professional guidance – right on board and in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

Like the entire ship, your cabin has air conditioning as well. The cabin temperature can be adjusted individually. When you open the balcony door, the air circulation unit is automatically switched off.

Only the suites of the A-ROSA FLORA, A-ROSA SENA and A-ROSA SILVA have a minibar. On board the A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA all cabine have a minibar

Laundry bags and order slips for our laundry service are located in the wardrobe. Payment is made via your on-board account.

For protection against insects, an insect screen in the form of a roller blind/sliding element is usually attached to the outside of the balcony door. When operating the roller blind, please ensure you exert equal force distribution in order to prevent it from getting stuck. It can be locked at the bottom.

Only the suites of the A-ROSA FLORA, A-ROSA SENA and A-ROSA SILVA have a minibar. On board the A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA all cabine have a minibar. For storing refrigerated medication, please contact the reception. The employees will store the medicines properly. The reception is open 24/7, access to the medicines is available at any time.

On board A-ROSA ships, you can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. There are two paid internet packages to choose from:

Please note that the package can only be used on one device at a time. On the A-ROSA BELLA, A-ROSA DONNA, A-ROSA MIA and A-ROSA RIVA, Wi-Fi can only be used in public areas, not in the cabins. Further information on Starlink technology and the costs involved is available at the reception.

Yes, the water on board is of drinking quality.

Public and automated announcements can be heard on deck and in the cabins and primarily inform guests of outings on land and important programme points. Announcements are in English and German. No announcements will be made in the cabin before 8:00 or after 22:00, except in the event of an emergency. Announcements concerning the landscape passing by are made via App.

On all Danube Delta routes, a doctor is on board. On all other routes, a medical supply is ensured by the infrastructure of the area in case of emergency.

The A-ROSA fleet (except A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA) is equipped with e-bikes. These are used for our bike excursions. The e-bikes can be hired at selected times for your own explorations. For more information on availability and times, please contact reception on board.

Unfortunatley, money exchange is not possible on board. However, bureau de change can be found in the direct vicinity of most of our docking locations.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to take your own bicycles on the cruise. However, you may take part in our A-ROSA biking excursions (depending on availability). For more information on the biking excursions, please contact our reception.

Animals are not permitted on board the A-ROSA vessels.

The windows and balcony doors of the suites and the cabins with Juliette balconies can be opened, all other cabins do not feature a window which can be opened. However, all cabins have windows and are therefore outside cabins. The A-ROSA ALVA has cabins with lowerable panorama windows on deck 2 and deck 3.

Incoming calls will be put through to your cabin by Reception. The normal roaming charges for outgoing or incoming calls from your cabin will be automatically charged to your on-board account.

On board and during the shore excursions, you can wear what you like. The dress code is comfortable and casual. Please remember to bring warmer clothes for the evenings out on deck. For the shore excursions, we recommend you bring sturdy shoes. In the restaurants, swimwear or shorts are not appropriate for dinner.

Guests are mostly from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Israel and the United States. The on-board language on the A-ROSA ships are German and English.

On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA VIVA and A-ROSA BRAVA there is a heated whirlpool in the spa area on Deck 3. On A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA there is a heated whirlpool on the sun deck. On all other A-ROSA ships you will find a heated swimming pool on the sun deck. On A-ROSA SENA there is both a whirlpool in the SPA-ROSA and a swimming pool with its own kids’ pool on the sun deck. Bath towels are provided in your cabin.

In the EU, you can leave the ship as soon as we dock. In non-EU countries, you can only leave the ship after permission is granted by the local authorities. In your own interest, we request that you are back on board no later than 30 minutes before we cast off. The docking times may change at short notice. Please pay attention to announcements and information in the daily programme. Please always pick up your shore pass at the reception before leaving the ship and return it to the reception once you are back on board. We can only then ensure that all guests are back on board.

Full Board Plus includes an extensive breakfast, lunch buffet , dinner buffet, an embarkation snack and a tea and coffee hour. Many cruises also include seasonal extras such as sandwiches or midnight snacks.

The ship is equipped with a modern vacuum toilet system and a biological waste processing system. Do not throw any items (including feminine hygiene articles) into the toilet, as this can lead to the failure of the entire system.

The SPA-ROSA is the spa area on the A-ROSA ships. You can find fitness equipment, massage rooms and a relaxation area as well as the following saunas:

A- ROSA BELLA/ DONNA/ MIA/ RIVA: bio and Finnish sauna

On A-ROSA AQUA, A-ROSA BRAVA, A-ROSA SENA, A-ROSA SILVA and A-ROSA FLORA, cabins with connecting doors are available, which can also be used as family cabins. The baby bed measures 1.30 m x 0.65 m and has a textile grid all round, which is attached to platinum-coated bars. On board the A-ROSA ALVA, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA, the addition of a baby bed is only possible in the suites.
On A-ROSA FLORA there are two family cabins on deck 1, which can be occupied by a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children, namely cabin numbers 126 and 129.

Our A-ROSA Premium all-inclusive fare includes an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with live cooking and many other services. Tea, coffee, water, soft drinks, beer, sparkling wine and a selection of wines are also included throughout the day. Cocktails and long drinks can be additionally booked to the drinks package. Some additional services on board are charged extra though. These include shore excursions, spa treatments, purchases in the onboard shop, À-la-carte-Meals and laundry service. In addition, fine wines, champagne and other premium beverages are offered at an additional cost.

The on-board voltage is 220 V/ 50 Hz switchable 220/110 V socket for electric shavers and toothbrushes located in the bathroom, the voltage is not suitable for other electrical devices. In the cabin there are also several outlets (220 V), which can be used.

The languages on board are English and German. All information, such as the daily programmes, notices and menus, etc. are available in both languages.

Premium All-inclusive customers who book a junior or balcony suite can expect the following additional services free free of charge:

Your cabin is modernly equipped with the following facilities: shower, vacuum toilet, telephone, hair dryer, towels, satellite TV, safety deposit box with individually adjustable numerical combination and individually controlled air conditioning. All cabins are non-smoking cabins.

English excursions can be pre-booked online without obligation. A binding confirmation, booking and payment for excursions is made on board. A-ROSA arranges the excursions, but they are implemented by the local agencies, which are the excursion organisers, and thus also your contractual partners. Please note that excursions are subject to a minimum number of participants, and some excursions also have a limited number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, the shore excursion will not take place and you will not be charged. Exclusive Tours can't be reserved free of charge. They are confirmed immediately upon reservation and non-refundable.

In case of emergency, the lifejackets can be found in the closet of every cabin.

There is a small shop on board all A-ROSA cruise ships. There you will find a selection from our exclusive A-ROSA collection: cosmetics, everyday commodities and souvenirs. The opening hours can be found in the daily programme.

Postcards and letters can be handed in at the reception. The mail will be sent from the next port or at the end of the cruise at the latest.

Extract from the A-ROSA travel conditions 2026

8.2. If the customer cancels before the start of the trip or does not begin the trip, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH loses its claim to the travel price. A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH may instead demand suitable compensation for the travel arrangements made prior to the cancellation and its expenses in accordance with the actual travel price, unless it is responsible for the cancellation or extraordinary circumstances arise at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination that have a significantly adverse effect on the execution of the trip or the transport of persons to the destination. In the event of cancellation by the customer, a percentage rate of compensation for travel arrangements made and expenses incurred shall become payable, the amount of which depends on the date when the cancellation declaration is received and the expected amount of saved expenses. We therefore recommend that any cancellation declaration be made in writing. The percentage rate of compensation is calculated as follows:

a) Standard rate: A-ROSA Premium all inclusive rates

• up to 31 days before departure 40 %
• 30 days or less before departure 60 %
• 24 days or less before departure 70 %
• 17 days or less before departure 80 %
• 10 days or less before departure 85 %
• 3 days before departure until the day of departure or cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show 90 %

If a partial cancellation is made by a passenger who has booked a double cabin for the full price, with the result that the remaining passenger will have single occupancy of the double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to charge cancellation costs as set out in the table. The compensation payable shall amount to no less than 60% of the proportionate travel price. The same shall apply if a passenger paying the full price cancels their berth in a cabin with multiple berths. In this situation, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH reserves the right to rebook the cabin. If a partial cancellation is made for a child up to 15 years of age who is travelling free of charge in the company of at least one responsible adult and is accommodated in a double cabin, A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH will charge a processing fee of €200.

b) Special rate: A-ROSA Basic rates

• up to 31 days before departure 50 %
• 30 days or less before departure 70 %
• 24 days or less before departure 80 %

c) For additional themed packages with a separate booking code, such as wellness packages, and also for arrival and departure arrangements and extended stays in hotels, the standard rate shall apply (8.2.a.).

If the flight arrival or departure is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the airport to the ship and/or back is not included. The rebooking of an A-ROSA airport transfer is possible on the spot and only in individual cases, depending on the availability of transfer places and against payment (A-ROSA airport transfer from € 20 p. p. /per route). Alternatively, we recommend an individual taxi transfer in Lyon. On the day of arrival, sufficient taxis are available at the airport. For your individual return journey from the ship to the airport, you have the option to book our transfer service on board for € 20 per person.

Lyon Railway:

The train station transfer cannot be booked in advance as an individual service by individual guests. Guests arriving and departing individually (not with the A-ROSA TGV-Arrangement) by train to Lyon, we recommend an individual taxi transfer from the train station to the ship or back. Depending on the volume of traffic, the journey takes 5 to 20 minutes each way. Taxis can be pre-ordered at the reception on board for individual transfers from the ship to the station on the day of departure. Alternatively, depending on the availability of transfer places and payment (A-ROSA train station transfer from € 20 p. P. /per route), it is also possible to rebook an A-ROSA train station transfer on board in individual cases.

Flight to Paris

If the arrival or departure flight is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the airport to the ship and/or return is not included. For guests who have booked an individual flight arrangement on their own or through their travel agency, we recommend booking the A-ROSA transfer on site, depending on the availability of transfer seats, for a fee of € 20 per person and route.

Arrival transfer Le Pecq:
Transfer to the ship from the airport at 3:30 p.m.

Departure transfer Mantes la Jolie:
Transfer to the airport from the ship at 5:30 a.m. | 8:30 a.m.

Meeting point: Our staff will be waiting for you with an A-ROSA sign in Terminal 2F (Level 1) in front of the Marks & Spencer shop (next to the Monoprix shop and tourist office; waiting area with seating) and in Terminal 1 in front of the Marks & Spencer shop and will accompany you to the bus.

Train to Paris

If the arrival or departure by train is not booked via A-ROSA, the transfer from the railway station to the ship and/or back is not included. If transfer seats are still available, guests travelling individually by train can book this service on site for € 20 per person and route. The transfer will be charged to the cabin account.
Should there be no more space available on the A-ROSA transfer bus, we recommend an individual taxi transfer from the railway station to the ship and back. On the day of your return journey, our A-ROSA team will be happy to order you a taxi from the ship to the railway station.

Transfer from Paris Gare du Nord to the ship: 1:00 p.m.

Railway services are confirmed immediately, flight and hotel are always available at A-ROSA as an enquiry and will be confirmed according to availability. In this case, waiting times may occasionally occur if, for example, waiting list seats have to be checked at the airline.

The transfer service will only be available on the day of arrival and departure.

On the day of embarkation, the transfer takes place at 3:00 p.m. Coaches are available at Cologne Central Station to take you to the ship. Please note that there may be waiting times. If you have any questions, your A-ROSA ship will be happy to answer your questions on the day of embarkation. On the day of disembarkation, the transfer to Cologne Central Station will take place at 8:15 a.m. You will receive further information on the transfer from the ship to the train station directly on board. The meeting point is on the forecourt of Cologne Central Station (exit Breslauer Platz) in front of the pharmacy ‘Am Hauptbahnhof’. Our staff will be waiting for you on the forecourt and show you the way to your transfer bus. After you have handed in your luggage, you will find it in your cabin after embarkation.

The transfer can be booked for € 30 per person (return).

Lyon Train Station: Arrival by TGV booked via A-ROSA takes place one day before embarkation. After the train arrives, please make your way independently to your Radisson Blu hotel (within walking distance, located directly at the railway station).

TRANSFER FROM THE HOTEL: You will receive the relevant information for the transfer with your travel information. You will be picked up from the Radisson Blu Hotel at around 1:00 p.m. on embarkation day. Once all transfer guests have arrived, the group will walk together to the transfer vehicle at the train station; depending on the number of guests, this may be a bus, minibus or car. There may be waiting times. The transfer time for the day of departure will be announced to you on board.

Lyon Airport:The transfer times for flights booked via A-ROSA are at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. You will receive detailed information with your travel information. You will receive all information on the transfer from the ship to the airport directly on board.

A-ROSA airport transfers can be booked on site and only in individual cases, depending on the availability of transfer places and for a fee (A-ROSA airport transfer € 20 per person/per route). Alternatively, we recommend an individual taxi transfer in Lyon. There are plenty of taxis available at the airport on the day of arrival. For your individual return journey from the ship to the airport, you can book our transfer service on board for  € 20 per person.

Train Station - Ship (and back): Once you’ve arrived at the train station, an employee of our local agency or your driver will be waiting for you at the meeting point, which is located is at the far end of the platform (terminus). Please pay attention to the signs. Once all transfer guests have arrived, the group will walk together to the transfer vehicle outside the station, which may be a bus, minibus or car depending on the number of guests booked. There may be a short wait at the station.

To reach the embarkation point, we recommend booking the transfer service to and from the ship. The cost is € 20 per person and route – € 40 round trip. You can book via the A-ROSA App, or through your travel agency or the A-ROSA Service Center.

The transfer will only be available on the day of arrival and departure. On the day of embarkation, the transfer and departs at 01:45 p.m.

The transfer can be booked for € 25 per person (return).

The return transfer from the ship to the train station or airport is organized by the crew on board. Our guests will receive detailed information about the transfer times the day before departure. Normally, all organized transfers take place between 08:00 and 09:00 am.

Hotel: The hotel facilities vary. Some offer three-bed rooms or family rooms with a connecting door, but in some cases it is only possible to add an extra bed/folding bed. Prices and availability on request.

Train: Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge within Germany, children aged 6 to 14 years of age travel in Germany and Austria free of charge only if accompanied by their parents/grandparents (with family child RIT ticket). Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge on international transport to France (Lyon and Paris) without entitlement to their own seat, children from 6 to 14 years of age accompanied by their parents/grandparents pay half price (with entitlement to a seat). If a child up to the age of 5 requires their own seat, they must be booked at half the price of the adults, just like children aged 6 – 14 years.

Flight: Babies ("infant" 0-1 years old) and children ("child" usually 2-11 years old) pay a reduced fare for many airlines, but never travel free of charge. Discounts vary between airlines and must therefore be requested from A-ROSA.

Transfer: Long-distance bus operators recommend that babies/children up to 3 years of age travel only in mandatory seats/baby carriers (e. g. Maxi-Cosi). The parents bear the responsibility for safe transportation. The bus driver has the right to refuse to take you on the bus if there are valid safety concerns. The buses used by the transfer agency do not provide child seats/baby carriers, as different seats are required depending on the size.

A-ROSA can apply for free assistance/accompanying service at the airports for disabled or elderly people who feel insecure at the airport or on connecting flights. Should this occur in connection with the transport of a walker or wheelchair by the guest, it is absolutely necessary to register the device with the airline before departure. For this purpose, A-ROSA requires information on weight and dimensions (length x width x height).

Furthermore, we would ask you to inform us about the extent of the obstruction/insecurity: Can stairs be managed independently or is help needed here? Can the route between the airport building and the transfer bus be managed independently or is help needed here as well?

If train tickets are changed or cancelled, please return the unused original ticket before departure. If you book your train tickets at catalogue price, the rail fare can only be reimbursed in accordance with the A-ROSA travel conditions if you present your unused original ticket before the start of the cruise. A refund of the tickets is not possible when booking a railroad inclusive offer.

The routes permitted for transport to the destination are shown on the ticket (e. g. certain border crossing points to be used). For this reason, the border crossing to be used must be indicated in international traffic when booking.

Special case TGV to/from Lyon and Paris: there is a train connection for the train indicated on the ticket!

When choosing your train connection, please allow sufficient time between the arrival of the train and the departure time of the ship to begin your holiday comfortable and stress-free. In case of delay or cancellation of your train ride, we ask you to send the completed passenger rights form of the Deutsche Bahn and all original receipts / train ticket to the A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH, Loggerweg 5, 18055 Rostock, Germany. We will support you with your concern and claim with the Deutsche Bahn.

The train tickets are valid for all DB stations with the exception of some stations from which non-Federal Railways (NE trains) run.

You will receive the binding flight times/TGV train times together with the travel information. We will be happy to accept flight time requests without obligation when booking. Please understand that not all wishes can always be fulfilled. A-ROSA books the flight depending on availability in the respective booking classes.

If the TGV9580 is available, train travel to Lyon Part Dieu is provided for, and train departure from Lyon Part Dieu if the TGV9582 is available (subject to changes by train).
