Les Andelys

Nestled on the banks of the Seine and framed by gentle hills, Les Andelys is a tranquil gem in the heart of the idyllic Seine region. The town’s most striking landmark is the imposing ruin of Château Gaillard – a medieval fortress perched high above the river, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape. History buffs will be enchanted by the cobbled lanes and beautifully preserved half-timbered houses that bring the town’s rich past to life. Meanwhile, nature lovers can enjoy scenic hiking trails and discover the peaceful Norman countryside. Along the way, regional delicacies, local wines and crisp cider invite you to pause and savour the moment.

Le Havre

Le Havre, a seaside city on the Normandy coast, combines maritime charm with striking modernist architecture. Rebuilt after the devastation of the Second World War, the city today stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a showcase of avant-garde urban design. At its heart lies the city centre, conceived by architect Auguste Perret, with its wide boulevards and distinctive concrete buildings. Visitors can stroll along the lively waterfront promenade, enjoy fresh seafood in cosy restaurants, or explore the MuMa – the Museum of Modern Art – which houses an exceptional collection of impressionist and contemporary art.

Rouen

With its breathtaking Gothic architecture, cobbled streets and bustling markets, Rouen invites you on a journey through time. At the heart of the city stands the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, its delicate façade famously captured in a series of paintings by Claude Monet. History lovers can wander through atmospheric old quarters lined with half-timbered houses or marvel at the ‘Gros-Horloge’, a 14th-century astronomical clock. And when it comes to culinary pleasures, cosy brasseries serve up traditional Norman specialities: from creamy Camembert to a glass of Calvados.
