A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH, as the website operator, strives to design the website in accordance with the relevant accessibility regulations. In doing so, we are guided by the provisions of the State Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LBGG M-V) and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Accessible Websites Ordinance (BWebVO M-V).

This website is not fully compliant with the accessibility regulations applicable to us. The following content does not comply with the relevant legal requirements for accessibility:

a) Perceivability

• Some graphics and images lack alternative text and are therefore not accessible to screen readers
• Headings are not correctly nested and must be structured properly and logically
• Visually hidden content should also be hidden from screen readers
• Forms require autocomplete attributes
• Contrast ratios on various pages and control elements need optimization
• Automatically generated subtitles in videos are either inaccurate or incomprehensible
• Visually displayed lists are not structurally marked up correctly
• Dates are displayed in tiles as individual characters
• Overlay content should be closable via the Escape key

b) Operability

• Interactive control elements (e.g. buttons with “X”) are not sufficiently labeled
• Not all interactive elements are fully operable via keyboard
• Overlays should be closable using the Escape key and a focusable “X” button
• Keyboard navigation order is sometimes inconsistent
• Some switches and date input fields cannot be operated via keyboard
• Mandatory checkboxes on form pages cannot be activated
• Newsletter checkboxes in the footer are not reachable via keyboard
• Animations start automatically and cannot be paused or hidden
• No skip link is available to bypass recurring content areas
• The keyboard focus is either missing or not clearly visible

c) Understandability

• Page titles do not contain specific information about the respective subpage
• Form field labels are displayed below or behind form elements in linearized view
• Error messages for form fields do not indicate how to correct the input
• Non-interactive elements incorrectly receive keyboard focus
• Some elements receive duplicate keyboard focus
• Focus indicators for keyboard navigation are barely or not visible
• Some form field labels are missing or only provided as placeholders
• Search and input fields lack visible labels
• Error messages are only displayed visually and are not accessible to screen readers
• Error messages are not correctly associated with the relevant input field

d) Robustness

• Name attributes do not comply with technical specifications
• Irrelevant information is read aloud by screen readers
• Prices are not correctly read out by screen readers
• Form fields lack autocomplete information
• Redundant content is read aloud by screen readers
• Menu buttons and other interactive elements are not correctly labeled
• The status of tabs and switches is not clearly conveyed to screen readers

We are continuously working to enhance the accessibility of our website. A‑ROSA Flussschiff GmbH is actively addressing the identified accessibility barriers. Remediation will take place gradually, within the scope of our technical and staffing capabilities.
