TRAVEL WITH DEUTSCHE BAHN AG
Thanks to our partnership with Deutsche Bahn (German railway company), you can travel to and from your A-ROSA cruise comfortably and flexibly with a rail connection that fits your itinerary. Trains operated by Deutsche Bahn and selected private rail companies, as well as some long-distance buses from the Deutsche Bahn network, are available for your journey. All conditions listed here apply for embarkations and disembarkations as well as arrivals and departures from/to Cologne, Frankfurt and Nuremberg. Train connections: within Germany

Your travel documents will include a voucher code. Use this code to book the train connection of your choice to and from the port. Instructions can be found here.
Ticket validity: The voucher can be used to book travel for the day of the start and end of your cruise, the day before, or the day after. Tickets are valid for one day (for journeys up to 100 km) or two days (for journeys over 100 km), until 3:00 a.m. the day after the last valid day. For trips under 100 km, you must begin your journey on the specified travel date.
For train journeys booked individually: We strongly recommend allowing plenty of time for your rail journey, especially during periods of high traffic or adverse weather conditions. Significant delays can occur, so please ensure your schedule allows for a timely arrival at the port — ideally at least 3 hours before departure. Please note that you are responsible for arriving at the port on time.
TRANSFER SERVICE FRANKFURT / COLOGNE / NUREMBERG STATION – SHIP
Due to limited taxi availability in the cities, especially on weekends, we recommend booking the transfer service between the train station and your A-ROSA ship and back. The cost is € 15 per person each way, or € 30 for a round trip.
This transfer is only available on embarkation and disembarkation days. To book, please send an email to: service@a-rosa.com. If you have any questions on the day of arrival, feel free to contact your A-ROSA ship directly — the phone number can be found in your travel documents. On disembarkation day, return transfers to the station will be arranged in the morning, and details will be provided on board.

Car Parking in Cologne
If you’re arriving in Passau by car, we offer parking at the Globus Parking Garage. Your vehicle, including additional equipment, is insured up to a maximum value of € 25,000 while parked. Insurance coverage is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the parking contract. We’ll take you and your luggage directly from the parking garage to the ship and back again.

Luggage Service
If you’d like to have your luggage sent ahead to the port of departure, TEFRA Travel Logistics offers a convenient door-to-ship and return luggage service. This service is available for embarkation and disembarkation ports in Passau, Vienna, Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Lyon, and Paris.
