CASTLE GRAVENSTEEN
In the Middle Age castle Gravensteen you can immerse yourself into the medieval world of castles and knights and learn more about the habits, traditions and stories of the 12th century. The count's castle looks back on an eventful history and since its restoration at the beginning of the 20th century shines again in its old glory.
BELFRY OF GHENT
At 91 meters tall, the slender watchtower is the tallest of its kind in Belgium and offers a breathtaking view of the skyline. A fiery dragon awaits visitors at the top of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The proud symbol and mascot of Ghent has watched over the historic heart of the medieval city there since its construction in the 14th century.
ST. MICHAELS BRIDGE
Not only the St. Michael's Bridge itself has a very special charm with its brass fences and bronze lanterns, but also the panorama is amazing. From here, among many other sights, especially the famous three medieval towers of Ghent can be seen perfectly.
